Functional nutrition for individuals with persistent GI symptoms

Your stomach shouldn’t get the final say in your plans.

Bloating after meals. Constipation that keeps you guessing. A growing list of foods you’re nervous to eat. Let’s make sense of what’s happening and build a plan around you.

Eating “better” shouldn’t leave you more confused about what to eat.

You’ve changed your diet, cut out half your favorite foods, tried the supplements, and somehow even ChatGPT seems to be running out of answers. You’re still uncomfortable. You deserve support that helps you sort through it and decide what actually makes sense for you.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You're getting through the day.
Your stomach isn't making it easy.

There’s the physical discomfort. Then there’s everything you do around it: checking menus, packing backup snacks, changing outfits, trying to predict how you’ll feel three hours from now.

It takes up a lot of space. Especially when people hear “bloating” and assume you just had a big lunch.

  • You wake up feeling fine. By dinner, your pants feel two sizes too small.
  • You’re eating the same few “safe” foods, and even those feel unpredictable.
  • Your supplement shelf is expanding. Your clarity is not.
  • You can't remember the last time you ate without worrying about how you'd feel afterward

You've probably tried enough things to know that guessing isn't getting you very far. At Soothe, my focus is on understanding what's driving your symptoms, not just finding more ways to work around them.

That means getting specific: your gut bacteria, digestive function, markers of inflammation, bowel patterns, health history, and how your lifestyle fits into the picture. We use testing to dig deeper, put the findings into context, and make informed decisions about where to focus.

Sounds like a lot? It is. But making sense of it is my job. You've already spent enough time trying to figure out what your stomach wants from you.

I care about the details. Especially the ones you've been told don't matter.

I’m Ziba Klein, MS, CNS, CDN, a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Functional Nutritionist. I work with people dealing with persistent bloating, abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, reflux, and the kind of unpredictable digestion that makes eating feel unnecessarily complicated.

I also know what it's like to be on the other side of it. When I was struggling with my own digestive symptoms, I was told everything looked "normal." Meanwhile, my clothes weren't fitting, eating felt like a gamble, and I was spending far too much time trying to figure out what my stomach would tolerate.

That experience eventually led me to study Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine, and it's a big part of why I started Soothe.

Today, I help people look beyond the obvious, investigate the patterns behind their symptoms, and make informed changes that fit into their lives. I believe your symptoms deserve more than a quick explanation or another list of foods to avoid. I take the details seriously, even the ones you might feel a little awkward bringing up (especially those, actually).

How Soothe can help

A plan you understand. Support while you put it into practice.

Digestive issues rarely fit neatly into one appointment. Figuring out what may be contributing to them takes more than a list of foods to avoid.

The Soothe Package includes five private consultations over approximately five months, GI-MAP stool testing*, and guidance between visits. We'll take a closer look at what's happening, build a plan around what we find, and adjust along the way. You'll understand what we're doing, why we're doing it, and have someone to turn to when questions come up.
